Who is Michaela Darling?

I spent most of my life in Livermore, a small town about 45 miles east of San Francisco. I moved away from home (to Sunnyvale) to go to college.

In August of 2003, I graduated with Highest Honors from Cogswell Polytechnical College in Sunnyvale with a BA in Computer and Video Imaging, concentrating in Web Design.

In other news, I just celebrated my wedding, held on 20 August 2004. I am grateful to have been able to celebrate my marriage with friends and family! I will post photos for everyone to see as soon as I have them available.

More about my interests:

To start off, I have pet rats. Rats make the greatest pets! They are affectionate, clean, outgoing, and intelligent. I also do pet-sitting, specializing mostly in just rats, but I also sit for other "pocket pets" and some cats. Take a peek at the rats section for some great rat photos and information!

I love art, and through the art section of my site, I can share my art with the world. This section is mostly stuff I have done for school, but you know what? It is still my art! So enjoy!

As much as I like being in front of the camera, I simply adore being behind it! Photography lets me share my view of the world with everyone else. If you are looking for a photographer in the SF Bay Area, please let me know! I would love to photograph you!

I also have a web design section on the site now, so I can share some of the web pages and designs that I have done. I love to design and I love to make the design work well on the internet! If you are looking for a web designer, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Other favorite things? Chapstick, Yankee Candles, Reading, Faeries, Green Tea Ice Cream, Glitter, Trampolines, Sewing/Crafts, Cream Cheese Frosting, the Renaissance Faire, Rainbows, and Glow-In-The-Dark things.
